Moddin' the Charger

In Novemeber of 2007, I bought a 2006 Dodge Charger SXT. Here is a picture of the the car in its stock configuration:

When I bought the car the only mod made by the previous owner was limo black tint on the back door and rear windows (tinting other windows is illegal in CA). My first mod purchase was a rear spoiler. I chose a replica of the Charger SRT8 spoiler and painted it to match the color of the car. I also bought a 3D Carbon hood scoop, which was also painted to match the car. After I installed those the car looked like this:

At this point the car desperately needed rims. After a lot of deliberation I settled on Avenue A522 chrome 5-spoke 22" wheels. You can't go wrong with chrome on a black car, but I chose the A522s because I was looking for a tough sport look rather than a pimped look. I also purchased a Mopower front chin spoiler. This was painted to match the car and I installed it with the help of some friends. After the rims and front spoiler, the car now looks like this:

At this point, I am leaving the exterior as-is. Future mods will be performance upgrades.
